• The shoreline directly in front of the apartment is a mangrove beach with soft sand, ideal for kayak launching but not a traditional sandy beach for lounging. Water shoes are recommended.
  
• Being inside a natural preserve, you may occasionally notice a natural odor from the surrounding salt flats and mangroves, depending on the weather and time of year.
